While the 2014 lineup included mostly artists from current mainstream hard rock, the 2015 festival will take a step back in time and feature three headliners that rose to prominence in the ’80s. Shock-rock icon Alice Cooper will close-out Wednesday night, heavy metal pioneers Judas Priest headline Thursday and Def Leppard will conclude Rock USA on Saturday. Friday’s lineup will showcase one of metal’s most exciting "new" artists, Avenged Sevenfold. A7x will easily draw the youngest fan base through the weekend.
Fans looking for more music that’s comparable to Avenged should look to Northern Invasion—a new one-day music festival from the promotors of Rock on the Range that will occur in Somerset, Wis., on May 9. Cadott’s Rock Fest occurs on the same weekend, a couple hours drive from Oshkosh, will announce their 2015 performers on March 7.

Wed. July 15 - Alice Cooper, Queensryche, Warrant, Vixen, Wayland
Thu. July 16 - Judas Priest, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Whitesnake, Dokken, Road Trip
